DEATH THREATS Using a variety of communication mediums,
the defendant in this case has intimidated and made threats of
serious violence against a material witness in a trial for a
suspected ring of international drugs smugglers.

RAPE Working closely with the Special Victims Support
Unit, HB are managing a high profile case involving multiple rape
allegations.

INDECENT ASSAULT HB have taken instruction on a complex
case involving the alleged indecent assault of a minor over thirteen
years ago. Forensic specialists are assisting the defence team
in evaluating the evidence secured by the Police.

SOFTWARE PIRACY A six month investigation by
Trading Standards
authorities and the
Merseyside Police has
resulted in the arrest of a software piracy ring of, responsible for
the illicit manufacture and sale of games, DVD's and software
applications. HB is providing digital forensic expertise to
support this ongoing case.

investigations in several years - the unprovoked attack on 18 year
old A-level student Anthony Walker.

significant increase in the numbers of bogus agencies, purporting to
help businesses comply with Data Protection Act legislation,
targeting enterprises in the North of England. HB is working
on one of the more significant cases in this space and encourages

Assurance' department.
