'Cyber-Crime & Digital Evidence' Seminar
Western Rooms, Liverpool Cathedral, 15th November 2005
This seminar explored the role of digital forensics, demystifying
the technology and practice, whilst highlighting the importance of this
emerging discipline. Through case studies and technical
demonstrations delegates learnt more about this practice and were
briefed on the important fundamental concepts that underpin forensic
computing.
Solicitors and Barristers were helped to identify the
types of
cases that could benefit greatly from having the support of a forensic
specialist. Networking opportunities with security experts, researchers and
practitioners successfully rounded off the evening.
